Help Kids Find Courage
We can all use a little optimism and courage--especially in these tough times.
Kids are home from school, some of them indefinitely. Let’s help them find “courage” by placing this bluebird in your window so they can spot it on their walks.
Bluebirds are a traditional symbol of happiness, hope, and the courage to fly on to more joyful days.
Enlist your neighbors! Kids can make a game of seeing how many they can find.
At Nebraskans Against Gun Violence, we know that kids can find anything--and we want them to find courage and fun. We want to be sure they don’t find dangers in their home. The American Academy of Pediatrics advises that a gun-free home is safest, but if any guns are in a home with minors they must be locked securely for children’s safety.
