We are a member-driven organization. That means that unlike national groups, we do not tell you what to say or how to take action about gun violence. We want you to use whatever fire it was that brought you here to fight gun violence in our state with our help.

We have one basic guiding principle in how we operate. We never, ever take the focus off the firearms industry and its servants, the NRA, NRA-bought legislators, or gun culture. Gun deaths and injury are the public health crisis, guns are the contagion, and they are spread by the firearm industry. This is our focus and it is by keeping ourselves focused in this way that we will achieve peace. We want your help.
